With Summer right around the corner, it’s time to start prepping for all those outdoor parties! Nothing screams Summer like porch swings, bubbly drinks, and all your friends gathered around the grille celebrating the warm weather and trying to figure out exactly how to keep your kids entertained for the next 3 months with no school.

The drink station & snack bar might be arguably the most important part of any summer party, so be sure to make it look fabulous. We are a huge fan of these little chalkboard signs to help organize the food & beverage areas…. Plus we wouldn’t want anyone to not be able to find those Over 21 drinks, right?

One thing to never forget when hosting an outdoor party is the necessity for s’mores. I mean honestly, could it even be considered a real party without them? If you don’t have a fancy custom built in fire pit already, don’t fret. Head on over to Target or Lowes and pick up one of theirs- they have a huge selection and many of them are less than $100. This is not only an investment in your outdoor area, but it is also an investment in your children’s (& friends) happiness. Seriously though, they are a great addition to any backyard and seem to always make for the best memories!

No pool? No problem! There are SO many other ways to stay active and have fun this summer. We love backyard games here at HPID! They are great for keeping both the kids and adults entertained when you have people over, and also just add a ton of fun to any kind of summer night. Some of our favorites are corn hole, bocce ball, horseshoe, and one of our new favorites CanJam. (Y’all should seriously check this game out if you haven’t already- I have never had so much adrenaline running through me while throwing a frisbee).
So whether you are celebrating something, just looking for a reason to get all your friends together, or having a quiet night with the family... Summer is the perfect time to make use of your outdoor space! So grab your favorite food and games and get outside- party season has officially begun!
