Summer Studio Favorites

Well y'all, the time has finally come. School is out, traffic is heavier, vacations are being planned, pools are finally opening, and if all that isn’t enough to let you know loud and clear that it’s finally summer, the 99 degree weather and 100% humidity should be a dead giveaway!! As crazy and hectic as summer can be it is still one of the best times of the year. This week we are going to give y’all a little peek at summer at the studio and some of our favorite pieces that have arrived just in time for the season!

Pair this fabulous and vibrant white wash beach art from Mercana with one of our favorite hanging chairs this season we found from Serena and Lilly! These pieces are sure to lighten up any room with their light and beachy feel.

One of our favorite ways to shift seasons without feeling like we have to redo an entire room is simply using coffee table books! They are great for stacking on mantels or coffee tables (obviously) and can be switched out so easily! While you might keep black & white or antique looking books out in the fall and winter, come spring and summer you can trade those out for some fun and vibrant ones such as this awesome Kate Spade “Places To Go” or one of our personal summer favorites “Poolside With Slim Aarons.”

Brights, brights, brights! From your sunroom to your art to your pillows…. This season is all about color! Here you see some local artwork and a sunroom that we did a few seasons ago that really utilized the use of light and color! Don’t be afraid to use bold colors. Seriously, they are fabulous.

As far as accents, pillows are your best friend. A fun couple accent pillows on your outdoor furniture can make all the difference. So mix colors, patterns, and be bold. Summer is a time for new things and dramatic changes. These outdoor pillows featured here are from Lacefield and can be ordered by contacting our studio!

As for now, we are trying to get our toes in the sand. Off to the beach! See yall next week with a special post for Father’s Day!
