Coastal Cottage

A cute family of three relocating from Connecticut reached out to me to turn their home into an airy coastal retreat. They wanted to bring in natural textures and colors picked from seagrass. We refinished the floors, put fresh paint on the walls, changed out dated lighting and transformed their home. Check it out!

Washable fabrics, textured neutrals and accents of brass, black and organic elements give this home a relaxed coastal vibe.

The Thibaut fabric custom drapes flank the windows and simple iron hardware is a nice touch against the light walls.

Custom upholstery adds comfort and the perfect spot for reading.

Upstairs, the master bedroom takes it cue from the coast as well with a coco shell chandelier...

and tones of shell pink, gray and pops of emerald.

It offers unexpected soft color combinations for a unique look.

Their daughter, now going into 7th grade, asked for bold hues of turquoise with pops of pink. We created a teenage dream in her colorful room fitting for teenager.

The clients love their new home and so do we. Stay tuned for the exterior makeover on this Coastal Cottage, perfect and ready to help them ring in the Summer.
