So I have shown you the living, kitchen and master suite, but wanted to share the entry and kids' den on this house tour. 2 years in the making, these fun little spaces carry big impact.
The stairwell is certainly one-of-a-kind. One of Kersting Architecture's amazing designs, it practically floats and the white floor to ceiling structure is carried from the living floor to the floor above. It is sculptural and welcomes you the second you walk in the front door.
The kids' den is located behind the library wall and feels sophisticated, yet fun. Custom modern ship-lap cabinets hide toys and games while chairs are upholstered in a performance fabric to hold up to kids.
The walls are covered in a York paper for a fun touch.
It is a space that can grow with the children as they do. I love the nautical vibe, and how it flows with the rest of the home.... just a little more fun.
